The new 12 cylinder Ferrari model defines a completely new concept of the Gran Turismo genre that combines performance with versatility and comfort. Designed by Pininfarina, the perfect harmony between its sports spirit and its extraordinary versatility is immediately evident in its proportion.

In the FF, the ‘Man-Machine Interface’ goes well beyond creating a symbiotic relationship between the driver and the car, his/her hands and the vehicle’s steering wheel. It’s also an interface between the very soul of the driver and the car’s character, where the two effortlessly became one. As a result, Ferrari is offering the possibility to tailor the car’s interior, exterior and specs to individual tastes thanks to a personalization program divided into 4 categories: Racing and Track, Exterior and Colors, Interior and Materials, Equipment and Travel. Ferrari 458 Italia: Under the Hood of the 458

The 458 Italia continues the great Ferrari tradition for high performance sports cars. The new rear mid mounted longitudinal V8 engine features dry sump lubrication, direct fuel injection (with split injection management) and variable valve timing for both the intake and the exhaust valves. In keeping with Ferrari engine traditions, the unit has flat plane crank (with an angle of 180 between crank and pins). The sensation of limitless acceleration typical of all Ferrari engines, due to a constantly climbing power curve, is intensified even further by the capability of revving up to 9000 RPM. This upward surge stops at 9200 Rpm, when the engines speed limiter steps in to halt the crescendo of revs power. Ferrari engineers have worked to minimize the high end torque loss typical of naturally aspirated engines, and even at maximum engine speed, over 80%of the maximum torque is still available.
